Scholarly Perspectives
One perspective is, women of color are highly underrepresented in doctoral programs, despite higher numbers of enrollment and graduation in recent years.
The current educational landscape for minorities seeking a doctoral program may encounter challenges, which is why we recommend that anyone seeking an educational program to examine the institution thoroughly before consideration.
Readers can also gain insight from the authors who have completed Ph.D. programs and continue to support others in their professional and educational endeavors.
